I was born and raised in Kailua, HI, and began my filmmaking career as a skate videographer when I was 10 years old. My first videos were short skate films with friends, and later began filming for local skate shop, 808 Skate.

My passion for filmmaking led me to Santa Barbara, CA, where I attended SBCC and received an Associates degree in film production. I recently graduated from California State University Long Beach, with honors, in narrative film production (focusing on cinematography.) Currently I am working at Surfer Magazine shooting and editing their online videos.
