I recently revamped my website; changing the domain name and the basic structure/layout. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m pretty stoked on how it’s coming out!
My old domain name, AlexKilauano.com, wasn’t really working out. For starters I don’t like associating my name to my work. Not to say that I’m not proud of my work, because I am. I stand behind my work, good or bad. But I felt that I needed a website name that I could tell someone, without having to spell it out (being that my last name is kind of tricky.) I didn’t want to make a production company title or anything like that, since it’s kinda silly (ex. Alex Kilauano Productions, Kilauano Productions, or whatever.)
When I changed my domain name to Aloha Visuals, it came with a lot of thought. I needed to have a name that was easy to spell (ex. Kilauano; not so easy) and something that represented who I am and what I stand for, and Aloha Visuals was it. I’m a cinematographer/ director/ videographer/ editor/ photographer. Everything I love and enjoy doing involves a visual aspect. I love what I do, and this website is basically dedicated to everything I shoot. I hope you enjoy the site, and I'll try to keep it as up-to-date as possible.
